Hey guys! I’m 80 days away from heading out to the World Race. Just wanted to update you guys and tell you that The Lord is in control on this trip but my route has changed. I am still thinking and praying about which route to join but I am excited and hopeful for this next journey.
In case you are new here and wondering what World Race is; it is a Life-Changing mission trip where you will grow with God, serve with others, and make a difference! I will be serving in the gap year program and will be gone for 9 months from August 30, 2025 to May 21, 2026.
A reminder of why I’m doing this is that Mission work has always been a passion of mine but I never really thought that it would become a reality. Throughout the course of the last two years I struggled a lot with uncertainty and fear of my future. I wanted to attend the University of Clemson to further my education but the Lord had bigger plans for my life. I started to talk to my community and God about my passion for serving and mission work and one of my best friends introduced me to The World Race. After lots of heartfelt prayers the Lord opened my eyes showing me mission work was His plan for this stage of my life. The Lord has called me to share what he has done in my life and His love with people all over the world. He has put a big calling on my life to go make disciples of all nations and to make heaven crowded; and to share the gospel with mothers, children, families, and all creation. I am so excited for this next step on my faith journey and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for me!!
